Gaze/mother is an art-formed documentary delineating the relationship between the artist and her mother. The film was shot after the mother had gone through a surgery to remove a kidney tumor and for her spine. Through the camera, the artist looked at her mother in a different way, gazing at her wound and pain. It seemed like a mini-sketch of the difficult life her mother had endured. The mother used to dominate her family, but this was no more. This was shown from her compliance to the artist when asked to remove her clothes.
